This course is a gateway to a medical career path, and forms part of a progressive suite leading to FREC 4, FREC 5, and beyond.

📘 What You’ll Learn

Throughout the course, you’ll gain the skills to assess and manage a range of trauma and medical emergencies, including:

Casualty assessment & primary surveys
Airway management, oxygen therapy & suction
Administering emergency oxygen and assisting with medication
Managing catastrophic bleeding, trauma, fractures & burns
Medical emergencies (e.g., asthma, anaphylaxis, seizures, cardiac arrest)
CPR & AED use (including child & adult protocols)
Patient handover and record keeping
